Many carpet cleaning companies focus on the surface with a quick clean that won’t remove stubborn dirt and soil from the bottom of the carpet fibres. The Drymaster advanced carpet cleaning technology, solutions, and methods provide a deeper clean with a difference you the customer can see.
Drymaster professional technicians are skilled in deep carpet steam cleaning in Brisbane.
There are many variations of carpet steam cleaning. (Also known as hot water extraction)
Drymaster DOES NOT use a 1 stage steam cleaning process.
The Drymaster 6 Stage steam cleaning process:
Drymaster carpet dry cleaning Brisbane since 1990.
The procedure of carpet dry cleaning starts with vacuuming the carpet. This first step removes about 80% of the soil located on the surface and the middle layer. A dry cleaning / encapsulation solution is then pre sprayed on the carpet. Then, with the help of a floor machine, the encapsulation solution is agitated deep into the carpet’s fibres. Any difficult spots and stains are also treated.
The soil is surrounded by the detergent and is encapsulated, forming a kind of a crystal or bubble, which can be easily removed. There is almost no moisture associated with this method, so the detergent easily dries within one hour.
The next step is the removal of the encapsulated soil. It will be removed by the cleaning professionals who will use an industrial strength extraction machine. Moreover, any encapsulated soil left in the carpet will be removed by the carpet owner each time he vacuums the carpet afterward.
We already mentioned above one of its benefits. It is the use of a minimal amount of water. As a result, the carpet could be used almost immediately after the cleaning. This is very convenient for some places like hotels, offices, restaurants, hospitals, educational facilities, etc. that have high traffic of clients and visitors.
The main advantage of the encapsulation carpet cleaning is that the capsuling detergent reaches the deepest layers of the carpet and those hard-to reach places that other cleaning methods are unable to reach.
The Drymaster 5 stage carpet dry cleaning service:
Drymaster carpet cleaning Brisbane is pleased to announce a new Spot dyeing and colour repair service for permanent stains.
There is now an alternative to replacing carpets if you have a permanent stain.
When a stain becomes permanent it is time to move to the next step – Spot dyeing and colour repair.
This is a process that is beyond cleaning for the repair of permanent stains.
Bleaching agents, pet urine, medications, acne treatments and some cleaning products can alter the chemical
composition of fibres permanently removing the colour out of carpets.
Spot dyeing involves matching discoloured areas of your carpet to the original carpet colour and returning it to
its original state.
If your carpet has been damaged by pet urine, bleach, curry, or other forms of permanent carpet stain, we can restore the area using an effective spot dyeing technique. Even if you have areas that have been faded by sunlight, flooding (water damage) or other forms of discolouration, we can match your carpet colour for you.
Drymaster carpet cleaning Brisbane has various techniques, methods and chemicals to deal with urine in carpet and sofas.
Urine in carpet is relatively easy to remove from the carpet fibres if the urine has not travelled underneath.
If a pet has been urinating in the same spot and you think the urine has travelled through to the underlay and floor a different approach is needed
There are 3 options:

When we have pets on our carpets and furniture there can be various problems associated with cleaning.
The following information will help you understand these problems and also explain the various treatments available:
Scenario number 1
You have your carpets cleaned and the pet odour and /or stains become more evident after cleaning. This can happen because you were not aware of urine soiled areas. The urine soiled areas are “hidden” or not noticeable in your carpet and cleaning the carpet has activated the urine salt deposits and the odour can be worse than when cleaning commenced. This scenario does not happen all the time but it can occur. It can also occur days after the cleaning has been completed. If odour is present after cleaning this can normally be rectified by applying odorcide to the carpet as long as the urine deposits are in the carpet fibres and not in the carpet backing / underlay or floorboards. This method does not involve lifting of the carpet and is the most economical option.
Scenario number 2
There are no apparent urine stains in your carpet or furniture but stains appear after cleaning has been completed. This happens because the urine deposits are dormant in the carpet backing or underlay and are “drawn” to the surface in the cleaning process. Remember; a carpet cleaner can only clean the carpet fibres not the underlay or floorboards underneath, so when urine deposits are underneath they can “wick” through overnight to the carpet fibres. This problem can normally be fixed by lifting the carpet and replacing the underlay and treating the floor. Example of a carpet being pulled back and exposing the urine affected underlay and floorboards.
Scenario number 3
There are yellow or brown urine pet stains on your carpet that are PERMANENT. What is the next step if you have permanent pet stains? If you have permanent pet stains after your carpets have been cleaned the next step is to engage a specialist who deals with permanent stain colour repair to match the colour of your carpet. This is a specialised job that is performed after the carpet is cleaned and involves applying reducing agents and / or carpet dyes to the stained area. Please contact us if you require colour repair service as we can normally quote this service by evaluating photographs of the permanent stain. Example of a successful colour restoration / spot dye treatment on a permanent urine stain.
Scenario number 4
The carpet is so heavily contaminated that no amount of cleaning, deodorising, stain treatments, odorcide etc. will get rid of the odour or stains. In this case it’s time for the carpet and underlay to go to the tip. Remember: if you dispose of your carpet and underlay because of severe urine damage make sure you treat the floor before laying new carpet.

When disaster strikes such as a washing machine overflow, bath overflow, burst pipe, rainwater from balcony etc, water damage restoration procedures must be followed.
It is not as simple as just sucking up the water and cleaning the carpet and letting the area dry naturally.
It is not the wet carpet that is the problem it is the underlay and the wood or concrete floor that needs to be dried. If the underlay is not dried or replaced you will end up with mould and odour problems.
Our procedure for wet carpet is as follows.
The Drymaster Leather cleaning process includes the following.

We can clean your carpets, upholstery and your soft furnishings using the Responsible Care Anti Allergen System.

The majority of carpet cleaners only have the skills and equipment to provide one, not both services.
A professional carpet cleaner should carry both dry and steam cleaning systems in the vehicle.
Both methods have their place and can be used when appropriate.
A lot of factors come into play when deciding which system to use.
For example;
Drymaster technicians carry both Dry and Steam cleaning systems in the vehicle.
After inspecting your carpet the technician will advise you on the best method to use.
On average, it will take approximately 25 minutes per room. This time can vary greatly depending on the amount of furniture to be moved, how soiled the carpet is, and any necessary spot removal treatments.
Drymaster will include furniture moving for the following items: sofas and lounge suites, tables and chairs, beds on wheels and light furniture that one technician could expect to move.
Furniture that we don’t move: bookcases, fishtanks, waterbeds, china cabinets, computers and delicate or fragile items.
It is always best to remove items to an area that is not being cleaned before we arrive.
A spot is a substance that is adhered to the carpet fibre, but has not become set.
A stain is more advanced and may have become set.
A professional carpet cleaner will remove all spots (food, grease, mud, etc).
A professional carpet cleaner will have more problems removing a set or permanent stain compared to a spot. Drymaster carries a large amount of stain removal solutions for the removal of coffee, tea, blood, cola, urine, red wine etc.
If the stain has not set and become permanent, stain removal can be successful.
Our Policy for Stain removal is as follows:
Normal spotting and stain removal is included in our cleaning price and our cleaning process.
If at the completion of cleaning there are stains that have not been removed in the cleaning process that require extra treatments such as “Heat transfer methods” or “Spot dyeing” these procedures will be discussed with you and a quote given for the removal of these more difficult stains.
We will also discuss with you whether the stain will respond to extra treatment and the likelihood of the stain being able to be removed, partially removed or lightened or if the stain is deemed permanent.
Often extra treatments as mentioned above are not required as 85% of spots and stains are removed in the initial cleaning process.
From 30 minutes to 8 hours. It depends on what system is used and the degree soiling.
If you use our superior Dry Fusion system, we can have your carpets dry between 30 minutes and 1 hour. If your carpets are extremely soiled and we need to use a 6 stage system, it can take between 2 hours and 8 hours to dry.
The average drying time is 4 hours.
We do not guarantee to remove permanent stains in the cleaning process but can offer additional services for permanent stains such as ; spot dyeing, colour repair, invisible mending.
Drymaster Carpet Cleaning will guarantee to clean to Australian Standards 1995-3775.
If you are not happy with our service we will always return to your premises and re clean any areas of concern provided these areas are not affected by fair wear and tear, traffic lane discolouration, fading, permanent stains etc..
